The role you'll contribute : The Prospect Research Specialist supports the Foundation's fundraising efforts by identifying, researching and analyzing prospective donors and translating that research into actionable insights for the Foundation's philanthropy team. This position works closely with gift officers and leadership to aid in creating detailed prospect profiles and building a robust donor pipeline across individual, corporate and foundation donors as well as public grantors.
The value you'll bring to the team : Prepares / updates thorough, accurate and concisely written research profiles on potential individual, corporate and foundation prospects for gift officers and foundation leadership.
Leads research efforts of the foundation using techniques and tools to proactively identify new and existing prospects and ascertain donor capacity, interests, and other philanthropic giving.
Tailors work to align with the foundations core process for portfolio management.
Manages data processing from the foundations grateful patient program, including receiving daily files for wealth screening and using results to direct potential prospects toward major gift or annual fund cultivation.
Develops prospect pools for engagement activity across geographies, industries or constituent demographics.
Maintains the prospect management system and ensures appropriate data is mirrored in the donor data management CRM database.
