job_description.job_card.job_descriptionEmployment Type :Full timeShift :Description :Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Cath Lab, Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Cardiac Cath Lab / Special Procedures, this position has responsibility for the management of patient care provided by department personnel. The incumbent assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of the departmental patients in order to ensure that patients and families receive an optimum level of care. The incumbent is this position is also accountable for assisting the manager with providing leadership to the department, including maximizing personnel abilities and competence, problem resolution, orienting and mentoring department personnel, etc.Requirements1. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California is requried. 2. BSN is preferred. 3. Minimum three years RN experience in an acute care setting, preferably in a supervisory / leadership capacity, is required. 4. Demonstrated expertise in patient care management is required. 5. Successful completion of area specific training program or equivalent experience is required. 6. Current National certification in specialty area is preferred. 7. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and health care personnel and an ability to lead, direct, and mentor personnel is required. 8. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required. 9.
