Description :

PICU RN position available for night shifts.

The schedule includes three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.

This position requires charge experience.

Orientation is held every other week.

Patient ratios are 1 : 2.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and 1 year in the specialty.

Certifications for BLS and PALS are required, with ACLS preferred.

No call requirements are associated with this role.

RNs may be floated within scope to meet facility needs if necessary.

The facility is open to discussing block schedule requests during the interview.

Candidates must have an active West Virginia or Compact RN license to start.

There are no restrictions on requests for time off; discussions should occur during the interview.

Skills required include administration of blood products, maintaining central lines, and managing intravenous medications.

Newborn care skills, such as discharge teaching and phototherapy, are also essential.

Candidates must have documented proof of flu vaccination unless a medical exemption is provided.
