Description
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Administrator to provide technical support and maintenance for end-user computing devices, peripherals, and software. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up workstations, and ensuring optimal performance of IT systems in a corporate environment.
Responsibilities
Provide onsite or remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user devicesInstall, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applicationsTroubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems as neededPerform routine maintenance and upgrades on IT equipment if neededMaintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions and asset inventory using the ITSM toolCollaborate with remote IT teams – Service Desk and engineers to ensure consistent service deliveryAssist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including device setup and recoveryEnsure compliance with IT policies and security protocolsCollaborate with cross-functional teams and operate as "smart hands" to ensure the smooth operation of IT systemsContribute to the Knowledge Base with updates to existing articles and generation of new articlesProvide excellent user support via phone, email or in person.Requirements
1-4 years in a desktop administration role or at least 4 years in a Service Desk environmentKnowledge of Active Directory and M365 tools and processesExperience with Teams Voice or other VOIP solutionsFamiliarity of Citrix and AVD virtualization technologiesHands-on experience with user endpoints such as laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and other peripheralsITIL knowledge including Incident, Service Request and Problem and Change ManagementOccasionally act as an escalation point for Critical outages outside of standard business hoursExperience with ServiceNow is a plusNetwork (Palo Alto and Arista) troubleshooting experience is preferredAbility to drive and reliable transportationCertifications
