Job Description

HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Orange, California.

Job Description & Requirements

  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift : 12 hours, days, nights
  • Employment Type : Travel

Requirements :

  • Hard stop : Minimum 2 years recent experience in high-acuity / high-census PICUs
  • Previous experience with assignments >

    • 8 weeks and extensions preferred

  • Must be comfortable with CRRT, ECMO, arterial lines, ventilator management, sedation
  • Certs : ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • Charting : Cerner
  • First-time travelers accepted

    • Unit Info :

  • Ratios : 1 : 1–2
  • Patient population : Birth–18 yrs (critical care : metabolic, respiratory, oncology, neurosurgical, trauma, cardiology, endocrine, etc.)
  • Float required (primarily NICU & CVICU, may float to any area)
  • Weekends : Every other
  • RTO : Max 7 days (must work 2 of 3 major holidays)
