Job Position : Production Technical Shift Lead

The Production Shift Lead position has direct daily interaction with all general assembler and drill fill related positions. The Production Technical Shift lead assist in line changeovers and managing through basic trouble shooting of machines. Also supports the Production Supervisors and takes direction from them as to what the daily / weekly priorities are. The position is also the communication hub for all maintenance related issues. They are responsible for communicating to the maintenance department when issues arise and updating operators and assemblers as to when issues will be resolved.

Shift : 2nd Shift Production

Description : Direct, train, and develop employees

• Assist supervisor and or Manager - Act as supervisor when supervisor is not present
• Communicate assignments effectively written and verbal
• Set-up Production Runs
• Make decisions in line with positions responsibilities as well as aligning with Production demand
• Conduct Quality Audits
• Produce production reports
• Conduct Root Cause analysis tied to accidents / incidents
• Conduct employee meetings / training
• An excellent team player who is committed to helping and communicating with coworkers
• Ability to motivate new associates from temporary agencies and train to perform job in as efficient a manner as possible
• Some experience in manufacturing is preferred
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Basic math skills and good use of logic
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition, speed and accuracy for performing repetitive tasks
• Motivated individuals who want to work and will show up to their scheduled shifts on time and are excited and ready to work
• Travel for technical training and / or personal growth
