Sr. Financial Consultant

Ooptimum is looking for a Sr. Financial Consultant to provide expert financial guidance to our customer. Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Advise customer on all aspects of financial performance and assist in maximizing mission value, mitigating financial risk, and ensuring that financial commitments are met.
  • Design processes and procedures to support financial reporting requirements to include sped plans, budgeting, and planning.
  • Implement processes and procedures supporting Service Level Agreements and provide guidance on contractual requirements.
  • Monitor and provide customer with analysis of spending trends, execution rates, and budget plans.
  • Process budgetary requirements and financial reports.
  • Provide customer workforce with guidance in financial processing and policies.
  • Support the development and drafting of contributions to the congressional budget justification book.
  • Provide customer with supporting documentation for monthly invoices and contract status reports.
  • Provide customer with task order-specific financial summaries for several projects.
  • Attend monthly program management reviews and prepare reports of financial performance of task orders.

Requirements :

  • US Citizenship
  • Active TS / SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • 12+ years supporting financial activities and duties related to financial program management
  • Expert level understanding of USG budgeting and execution process
  • Expert-level understanding of Agency specific financial and budgeting systems, processes, and reporting

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours / week) at the customer site while sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Routine video conference and / or in-person meetings
