Key Responsibilities
Process and verify administrative and financial components of financial clearance, including insurance benefits and pre-certifications
Obtain pre-certifications, authorizations, and referrals for upcoming appointments while ensuring compliance with payor requirements
Act as a liaison between patients, insurance payors, and providers to facilitate prior authorization for services
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of experience with patient registration and insurance verification in a healthcare setting
Proficient with commercial and government insurance plans and medical terminology
Ability to work with various stakeholders and manage multiple priorities
Proficient in utilizing computer applications and software relevant to the role
