On behalf of an industry-leading Division 8 Construction firm, Solid Rock Recruiting is seeking a talented Estimator / Detailer to join their dynamic team.

Position : Estimator / Detailer I Location : Clearwater, FL or Ft. Lauderdale, FL or Remote (for highly qualified candidates)

Job Summary

The Estimator / Detailer will be responsible for estimating, submittals, coordination, and detailing of door, frame and hardware packages for commercial construction projects.

Duties / Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

• Ability to estimate and detail all types of projects and scopes from small TI’s to large condos, hotels, etc. Has the capability to demonstrate extreme attention to detail.
• Can read and understand blueprints and specification documents.
• Knowledge of commercial door hardware, hollow metal, wood doors, STC, FSC and Leed.
• Knowledge of building codes as they relate to door, frame and hardware applications such as fire codes, windstorm, ADA, life safety and other codes that relate to the general commercial construction industry.
• Addresses questions, concerns, and / or complaints throughout the project.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Is able to prepare estimates and detailed submittals and shop drawings using DFH Software
• Is able to perform revisions, change orders, attend job site meetings, etc. as requested.
• Other Duties as assigned
