Laboratory Logistic Coordinator

This role will focus on managing the logistics of research and development materials that move in and out of our laboratory, in compliance with all transportation regulations.

Responsibilities include :

• Executing proper packaging and labeling of shipping research material in and out of our Richland laboratory for ground and / or air transport.
• Providing specimen management for client Pre-Clinical and Clinical Pharmacology in a GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) compliant environment.
• Maintaining the chain of custody for biological specimens.
• Providing domestic logistics.
• Ensuring compliance with International Air Transport Association (IATA), DOT, EPA, and internal compliance regulations.
• Keeping accurate records of all Hazardous Material shipments for auditing by the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT), FAA, and NRC.
• Serving as a site contact with the contracted interplant courier service and their drivers.

Position is Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM with the potential for mandatory weekend work.
