The employee must be able to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Purpose : To set-up, run and maintain operations on machines to extrude or draw thermoplastic materials into tubes, rods, hoses, wires, bars, or structural shapes. The Extrusion Helper will ensure machines run smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis, as well as maintain superior quality control standards while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to) :
- Must be able to communicate and work well with team members, shift supervisors and all necessary personnel to take care of complications as they arise
- Use regulated cleaning solutions, grease guns, oils cans, air hoses and cleaning cloths to properly maintain and clean equipment on a daily basis
- Report any necessary repairs, replacements, and defective components on equipment
- Maintain positive employee relations and adhere to Company policies and safety standards
- House Keeping must keep work area clean at all times
- Reports to department Supervisor
