Hospice Home Health Aide

Hospice of Douglas County, a division of Horizon Public Health, has been providing exceptional end of life care in Douglas County for over 40 years. We are currently recruiting a compassionate, patient and dependable individual to work with our Hospice patients and families out of the Alexandria office. Individual will provide a wide array of personal cares and other supportive services for hospice patients and their families. Minimum qualifications : Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required. Preferred qualifications : Experience in hospice or with the geriatric population. Must pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug test and have a valid MN driver's license and reliable, insured transportation. This is a Grade 2 MNA / AFSCME Council #65 union position. Starting salary range is $18.38-$19.50 / hour with earning potential up to $23.98 / hour. This position will include training, education and flexible hours. Benefits include PTO, PERA eligibility.
