Description :

This is a travel RN position in Labor and Delivery.

The unit has a total of 26 beds and 52 staff members.

Staffing includes a minimum of 1 charge nurse, 3 nurses, and an operating room technician for the night shift.

Patient ratios are estimated to be 1 : 4 for antepartum patients and 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 for laboring patients.

The equipment used includes Alaris pumps, and the electronic medical record system is Meditech with CPN charting.

Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for this role.

Preferred candidates will have experience in mom-baby or couplet care.

Typical procedures performed on the unit include laboring patients, antepartums, cesarean sections, cerclages, and elective induction of labor patients.

Candidates should be flexible and able to work autonomously.
