A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. • Work on Daly 6B Medical Intermediate Care Unit with 42 beds (21 medical and 21 intermediate care)
• Expected ratios : Intermediate care 1 : 3, Medical 1 : 6
• Handle cases including PNA, COPD exacerbation, DKA, HHS, ETOH withdrawal, GIB, Sepsis, PE, UTI, and respiratory failure
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS
• Must have experience with trachs, vents, high-flow nasal cannula, cardiac drips, BiPaP, and telemetry
• Work on both medical-telemetry and intermediate care sides of the unit
• Floating to other units may occur at times
