🏥 Registered Nurse – Step Down (IMCU)

📍 Location : Rochester, NY 14621

🌙 Shift : Nights | 4x12-Hour (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

📅 Contract Duration : 13 Weeks

💼 Position Overview

Join the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) — a critical care step-down unit in a leading tertiary care hospital dedicated to providing exceptional, evidence-based care. The IMCU bridges the gap between ICU and Med-Surg, offering specialized care for complex, high-acuity patients requiring continuous monitoring and advanced interventions.

✅ Requirements

  • Experience : Prior Step Down / IMCU or Critical Care experience preferred
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
  • License : Active New York RN license (in hand)
  • Locals : Not accepted within 75 miles

    • 🩺 Clinical Skills

  • Airway management and acute BiPAP support
  • Care for patients with arterial and central lines
  • Titrated medicated IV infusions
  • Continuous pulse oximetry and telemetry monitoring
  • Adapt to fast-paced, high-acuity patient environments
  • Provide patient-centered, multi-disciplinary care
