Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with hospital medicine experience to join our healthcare team in Lake Charles, LA.
Responsibilities include :
- Performing independent age-appropriate history and physicals
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Prescribing treatments and modifying care plans
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and making referrals
- Providing patient and family education
- Maintaining accurate medical records and completing charts timely
- Staying current with clinical guidelines and licensure requirements
- Participating in clinic policies, CQI projects, administrative meetings, and after-hours call rotations
