job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPossesses the technical and mechanical skills to set and pull mold. Required skills level obtained through on-the-job training. Can successfully act as backup Material Handler. Successful completion of Forklift Certification. Ability to start and persist with specific course of action while exhibiting high motivation and a sense of urgency, willing to commit to long hours of work in order to reach goals, working with supervision. Successful completion of Routsis and ToolingU training and certification. Substantial interpersonal skills for effective communication and interaction with all levels of the organization. Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions. Ability to work overtime as required. Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings. High School Diploma or GED preferred. 6+ Months experience in Operator III or Material Handler III role (or prior external experience). Must be able to stand entire shift (8+ hrs.). Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Requires manual dexterity. Moderate physical demand involving lifting and moving of materials and equipment. Frequently moves from waist level to floor level.

Job Summary :
Sets and removes molds from molding machines. Completes all required paper work and documentation. Adheres to all plant and OSHA safety policies and regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
None.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Sets and pulls molds according to established procedures.
- Completes their section of changeover checklist
- Loads programs for Robots and Machines.
- Promptly addresses all buzzers, alarms and red lights.
- Communicates with molding manager, shift supervisor, quality assurance, tool room and maintenance about any problems that may exist related to specific department.
- Keeps all areas within responsibility neat, clean and organized at all times.
- Maintains compliance with company safety, housekeeping, rules and procedures to help maintain a safe, healthy work environment.
- Ensures that practices are compliant with the applicable quality system requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
