Ability to travel on occasion for business meetings. Job summary :
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily activities and strategic planning for the facility to achieve safety, quality, and manufacturing targets. Purview includes all functions in operations, maintenance and shipping / receiving.
Responsibilities :
- Ensuring employee safety is top priority, which includes providing all necessary training and equipment needed
- Drive positive, focused culture; Lead and engage
- Developing staff and identifying high potential employees for succession planning
- Deliver on efficiency goals, quality targets, profitability, inventory, revenue, and other KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Supporting continuous improvement activities throughout the facility
