Law firm is seeking two experienced Litigation Attorneys to support a high-profile commercial litigation case expected to be heard in the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.
This is a contract role projected to last two years, with a target start date in late September or early October 2025.
What You'll Do
- Lead full-cycle litigation in a complex commercial dispute involving breach of contract, corporate fraud, and potential trade secret theft.
- Handle discovery, depositions, witness interviews, and trial preparation.
- Participate in a federal jury trial in North Carolina (minimum two-week duration).
- Collaborate with a seasoned legal team and contribute to strategic litigation planning.
Must-Have Qualifications
Experience in commercial / business litigation , including breach of contract and statute of frauds cases.State and federal trial experience, including jury trialsLicensed and in good standing to practice law in TexasWilling and able to waive into the North Carolina Federal District Court if needed.Availability to travel for trial and case-related activities.Mortgage or financing-related litigation.Conflict check prior to interview.Virtual interview.Final in-person interview.About the Case
