MyUS is seeking a Human Resources Director with a strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and organization development. Strong Labour Law knowledge and experience across multiple states as MyUS operate in Florida (majority of workforce), California, Illinois and Ohio. The Human Resources DIrector will review and update local policies in accordance with the global HR delegation of authority. Key activities will include to plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy. This role is responsible for driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, policy, process and system compliance, and overall workforce development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Partner with the Aramex Global HR Centre of Excellence (COE) team and business stakeholders to support engagement and cultural development.
- Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and succession management.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on HR-related matters.
- Evaluate and negotiate benefit plans that support employee well-being.
- Support managers in goal setting, coaching, and performance management cycle.
- Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
- Develop, review and implement policies in line with local requirements and in line with Aramex Global policies under the governance of the HR Delegation of Authority (DOA).
- Review and update HR processes on a regular basis to ensure efficient and effective ways of work within the HR team and across business stakeholders.
- Align annual training agenda with Learning and Development Global COE team to leverage and initiate training opportunities for employee development.
- Facilitate Aramex’s global engagement surveys to support the organization’s culture evolution, compliance and strategy needs,
- Ensure the training of the HR Team and Business stakeholders in regard to the HRDOA to ensure compliance with our governance practices.
- Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- (Duplication) Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization’s human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
- Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
- Develops and implements departmental budget.
- Assure safety standards are being utilized, and comply with all company, local, state, and federal guidelines
- Ensures and facilitates the attendance and completion of all Compliance Training Classes by all employees to ensure employees understand and abide by Compliance Policy and Procedure.
- Role model exemplary customer service and consistently maintain a positive attitude.

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES :
Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.Oversees the daily workflow of the department.Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.Ensure the accurate and compliant processing of payroll.Supports the wider Aramex US HR Regional team as and when required.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS :
Proven ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and organizational development.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.Experience working in manufacturing and logistics field, preferred.At least seven years of human resource management experience required, with at least 3 years of leadership / HR team management experience.Strong Labour Law knowledge and experience across multiple states as MyUS operate in Florida (majority of workforce), California, Illinois and Ohio.SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.COMPETENCIES :
