Northwest Behavioral Health Clinic - Williston, ND - Functional Family Therapist

This position is eligible for an 9% pay differential in addition to the base salary.

• Will consider flexible shifts, including a 4-day work week

As a Functional Family Therapist , you will provide evidence-based services to families with youth ages 11 through 18 years old who are at risk or have been referred for behavioral or emotional problems. The Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model is designed to empower youth and families by creating strength-based behavior change that will be sustained long after treatment ends.

This rewarding career works with adolescents and their families by tailoring services to the individual family using treatment protocols, case management, crisis intervention, community outreach and in-home services. You will function as part of an FFT team and will participate in weekly team supervision and consultation from FFT trained clinicians.

This position is located in Williston and may be eligible for hybrid or in-office / remote work. Typical work schedule includes evenings and the ability to be flexible to meet the scheduling needs of families. Most therapists can build their full-time schedules around their caseload to create an alternate work schedule leaving time for family, schooling, or self-care. We also offer flexibility for classes, internship possibilities within our organization, and the availability for licensure supervision.

To thrive in this position , you should be comfortable working with adolescents and families, using cultural responsivity and trauma informed practice. You should also have effective interpersonal and relationships skills and be able to individualize program interventions to utilize adolescent / family strengths.

This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.
