A company is looking for a Mid-senior level associate specializing in Executive compensation and benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on complex executive compensation and employee benefits issues in M&A, private equity transactions, IPOs, joint ventures, and restructurings
Counsel founders, CEOs, senior executives, and boards on executive employment agreements, equity incentive plans, deferred compensation arrangements, and performance-based pay
Provide strategic advice on tax and ERISA compliance issues related to equity compensation and nonqualified deferred compensation programs
Required Qualifications
4-8 years of experience in Executive compensation, ideally at an AM Law 50 firm
Strong background in advising on executive compensation matters
Experience with transformative corporate events and sensitive situations
Ability to work in an ambitious and high-performing team environment
Flexibility to work remotely with support from the New York office
