As a Sports Orthopedic Surgeon at Trinity Health, you will specialize in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of sports injuries affecting the knee, shoulder, ankle, and other areas. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the functionality and quality of life for athletes and active individuals.
Responsibilities :
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop diagnostic and treatment plans for patients with sports-related injuries.
- Conduct surgical procedures, including arthroscopic surgeries, ligament reconstructions, and joint repairs when necessary.
- Collaborate with physical therapists and athletic trainers to create rehabilitation programs and recovery plans post-surgery.
- Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and preventive measures.
- Engage in community outreach and support programs aimed at promoting sports health and injury prevention.
- Stay updated on advancements in sports orthopedics through continuous education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications :
BC / BE in Orthopedic Surgery.Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.Completed an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency and a Sports Medicine Fellowship.Valid medical license to practice in North Dakota.Strong surgical skills with a focus on sports injuries and a patient-centered approach to care.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.What We Offer :
