Overview

Assistant Professor or Lecturer in Economics at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC). The position starts January 2026 and involves teaching undergraduate economics courses in-person and online, with ongoing professional development and service to the College and community.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate economics courses in both in-person and online formats.
  • Engage in ongoing professional preparation and development.
  • Support student growth and contribute to the College and community as a collegial team member.

Qualifications

  • Rank : Assistant Professor (tenure-track, 10-month) with terminal degree in Economics or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • OrRank : Lecturer (non-tenure-track, 10-month) with a master's degree in economics or a closely related field; credentialed to teach economics; with a minimum of 18 graduate credits in economics coursework.
  • Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, online course delivery and undergraduate teaching.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and business / community groups.

    • Salary and Terms

    Salary placement based on evaluation and experience. Appointment date : January 1, 2026.
