Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for an Engineer I to assist with our projects in Maumee, OH!
Key Responsibilities
Design and Drafting : Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).
Permitting and CEducation : Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience : 0–3 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in land development or municipal projects.
Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software; knowledge of stormwater management software is a plus.
Licensing : Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification & Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or a willingness to obtain it.
Skills : Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
ompliance : Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Project Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.
Technical Reports : Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support project design and decision-making.
Field Support : Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, verify design implementation, and resolve on-site issues as needed.
