Manager, Program 2

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector is seeking a Manager, Program 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, California.

Come lead the team where technology innovation and forward-thinking individuals develop the technologies and system solutions to enable the nation's next generation weapon systems to survive in the world's most hostile environments. The qualified applicant will be responsible for Advanced Survivability Technologies within the Research and Advanced Design directorate.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Define, develop, integrate innovative IR, Visual, Acoustic Survivability designs for future and emerging vehicle systems
• Develop and execute Research & Technology roadmaps, supporting internal NG customers and external customer objectives, for both internal and external investment.
• Manage a diverse set of Advanced Survivability CRAD and IRAD development programs.
• Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of research program, and management of engineering staff
• Define strategies for technology research, Customer and University / Lab engagement, identifying key areas of technology growth and projection into NG products
• Key interface with external Customers and National Experts in the field
• Develop new business in the Survivability field

Salary Range : $156,500.00 - $234,700.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
