The EmPower Breakfast began in 2001 and is expanding to cities across the US. Be part of this fast-growing, fast-paced business networking event by conducting an EmPower Breakfast in your city. Our aim is to improve business practices and enable individuals to reach their full potential. We are seeking passionate individuals to bring this people-focused event to their hometown. Network for DCH is a licensee of The EmPower Breakfast.

Role Description

This is a contract role for an Area Director for the EmPower Breakfast in your home town. The Area Director will receive paid fully training for 3 months prior to the first event and work 10-15 hours per month coordinating an EmPower Breakfast event in their designated area using our automated systems. As a remote role, the Area Director will have the flexibility to work from home.

Network for DCH is a non-profit organization distributing proceeds to Deaf Child Hope International DCH. DCH is a faith-based organization providing food, shelter, education and the Gospel of Jesus Christ to deaf children living in poverty around the world. Area Directors will not be expected to promote or do fundraising for DCH.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate an EmPower Breakfast event in your designated area using our automated systems
  • Work 10-15 hours per month remotely from home to organize each breakfast
  • Complete paid training for 3 months prior to the first event
  • Build and maintain relationships with local sponsors and attendees to deliver a quality networking experience

  • Enjoy meeting people and providing a quality networking experience
  • Recruiting sponsors is a primary function of the position and attendees are good sponsor candidates
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
