Position Overview

For nearly 100 years LVHN has operated independent residency programs in the Lehigh Valley area with a goal to provide the next generation with skills to be leaders, clinicians, and academicians. We offer an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program and recently established a new Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship. We are a regional clinical campus of the University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine and an accredited member of the nation’s Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems. • Certified Nurse Midwives in the network work closely with other providers to deliver a full scope of care in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
• Time spent at outpatient practice and nearby Lehigh Valley Hospital–Hazleton campus
• Full scope midwifery. Outpatient : OB, uncomplicated GYN care including well–woman exams, STI screening and treatment, contraception including Nexplanon and IUDs.
• 12–hour inpatient shifts, 8–hour outpatient shifts. Rotating nights, weekends, holidays. In–house call components.
• Collaboratively benefits the health and wellness of the mom and baby.
