job_description.job_card.job_description5+ years of construction experience, with a focus on general contractor experience. 4-year college degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent work experience. Advanced knowledge of construction project plans and specifications. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in construction management / scheduling software, with a strong preference for Procore. Experience preparing and processing Method of Procedures (MOPs). Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Senior Project Engineer - Data Center Operations
Austin, TX - Onsite
Responsibilities :
As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll be instrumental in keeping projects on track, on budget, and on schedule. Your day-to-day will include :
- Leading the estimating and purchasing process for various bid packages.
- Collaborating with Superintendents to develop and maintain the project schedule.
- Managing and processing Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and change orders.
- Maintaining and updating project files, records, and documentation.
- Assisting with the procurement of building permits.
- Facilitating and documenting weekly project meetings.
- Providing critical field support to construction superintendents, ensuring quality and contract compliance.
- Interacting directly with owners and clients, and managing multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications :
We're looking for a self-starter with a strong background in construction, particularly with data center projects or similar critical facilities.
