A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity : RN - Med Surg Adult Job Details : - Work 12-hour night shifts from 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM - Required to work every other weekend and holidays - Must have current Wisconsin nursing license - CPR / BLS certification required - Flu vaccination required - May be required to float to other units - Primarily work on Adult Surgical Unit with some pediatric patient beds - Utilize nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members - Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques and policies - Document according to standards of care - Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans - Participate in department performance improvement activities and shared governance - Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support patient care across units - Use critical thinking for patient safety and experience with appropriate escalation procedures - Looking for travelers available to start as soon as possible Facility : This healthcare facility is a comprehensive hospital and trauma center providing advanced medical and surgical services to the community.
