Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Manager for our manufacturing facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who thrives in a busy work place, and is well-versed in working closely with both junior staff and senior management. The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company's facilities. You are the one to ensure that your colleagues have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to budget.

1. Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.

2. Hands on Manager who has no problem troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment

3. Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality.

4. Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.

5. Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.

6. Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.

7. Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.

8. Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.

9. Train and Supervisor Operators

10. Oversee 15-20 Maintenance Mechanics and Operators

You will be expected to have a hands-on approach to all tasks, and be able to demonstrate a strong ability to lead, manage and motivate a team. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance operations are in compliance with company standards and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications :

1. Proven experience as maintenance manager or other managerial role.

2. Experience in planning maintenance operations.

3. Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.

4. Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.

5. Ability to keep track of and report on activity.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.

8. High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc / BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage.

9. Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus.

10. 3+ years of experience in encapsulation, blender, maintenance, press, troubleshoot, repair.
