The salary range for this temp position is $38 - $42 per hour. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and San Francisco location.

Summary
In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the timely and accurate procurement of materials required to support our operations and production goals. We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Contract Materials Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced cosmetics and skincare industry- a strong communicator with a solid analytical background and robust systems experience. This is a contract position with an expected duration of 5-6 months.
Responsibilities
Analyze forecasts in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to determine optimal order quantities and timing, minimizing potential disruptions.Generate and manage purchase orders for components and raw materials, including cosmetic ingredients and packaging materials, adhering to quality standards and budget guidelines.Proactively monitor order status and communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure on-time shipment and resolve potential roadblocks.Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues to ensure on-time arrival of materials, keeping stakeholders informed of any changes to the schedule.Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory levels, ensuring data integrity for audit purposes and reporting.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts, contributing to overall supply chain efficiency.Requirements
Proven experience (3+ years) in materials management, supply chain, inventory management, or procurement.Experience in the cosmetics, skincare, or related industry is highly desirable.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups).Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a significant asset.Experience with Asana or other project management software is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
