Description

Title : Production Manager

Location : Greater Boston, MA (North Shore area)

Salary : $100,000 - $120,000 + Bonus & Benefits

Job Type : Direct hire, Full-time

Must Haves

  • Food Manufacturing experience
  • Must be open to 2nd shift

Summary : Our client, a growing food manufacturer is seeking a production manager to oversee production staff, ensuring training, supervision, a positive work environment, and compliance with food and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure production lines run on schedule.
  • Monitor and enforce food and employee safety regulations.
  • Supervise production activities and maintain visibility.
  • Set and maintain productivity, reliability, and accuracy standards.
  • Report daily production results, material usage, waste, and downtime.
  • Report equipment issues to relevant departments.
  • Coordinate with Quality Control to uphold quality standards.
  • Assist with staffing, training, and personnel issues.
  • Perform administrative tasks and prepare reports.
  • Ensure proper sanitation of equipment and facilities.
  • Resolve production-related issues with other departments.
  • Maintain knowledge of operating systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree; BS preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years in food manufacturing.
  • 2-5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of food production practices and regulations.
  • Proficiency in supervising and motivating employees.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and / or Portuguese preferred but not required.
