Description :
Manage the overall completion of important and complex engineering tasks and projects. Initiate, direct, supervise and control major and minor engineering projects within a specified area of responsibility. Includes administrative and technical guidance to a group of employees, for light or heavy automotive body-in-white (BIW) engineering experience.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Cycle Time Chart (Machine Timing)
Create CLS (Controls Layout Sheet)
Operator Timing - STDS (GM Standard Time Data System)
SPD (GM) Sequence Deliverable Program
Operator ERGO Studies
Walk Path (ON A DWF FILE)
Xrwd (Excel Request wiring Diagram) / Sequence of Operation / TCD
Create a part outline
eM-Planner (nice to have)
Main areas of responsibilities :
Prepare general specifications.
Support, coordinate and execute all quality initiatives.
Meet all customer requirements, specifications and requests.
Suggest and support all continuous improvement efforts.
Customer-facing experience - nice to have.
Peripheral automotive BIW departments and their deliverables.
Knowledge & Skills :
Light or heavy automotive body-in-white (BIW) engineering experience
Strong organizational and planning skills
Close attention to minor details
Ability to follow structured processes and procedures.
Strong written and face-to-face communication skills in large and small teams

Software Required :
NX ( GM / Siemens) - navigation and observation
