Job Summary : Part Time Rotating Schedule : Monday - Saturday 8a-8p

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The ideal candidate will support the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory levels and manage medication storage in compliance with regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
  • Process prescription orders and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication management.
  • Participate in patient education initiatives regarding medication use and safety.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials.

Requirements :

Skills and Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
