Job Summary :
Our client is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the Geotechnical Engineering team in Lenexa, KS. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing office operations, driving client engagement, managing technical performance, and supporting staff development across Engineering, Testing, and Drilling divisions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage office operations, ensuring alignment with company goals across technical, client, and personnel areas.
- Oversee office-wide decisions including facilities, employee engagement, and local marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, operational efficiency, and business unit activities.
- Evaluate employee performance and set development goals focused on technical expertise, project management, and client service.
- Manage staffing needs including recruitment, hiring, and terminations to maintain optimal team composition.
- Collaborate with internal teams and marketing staff to define client strategies and business development goals.
- Direct client contracting in accordance with company policies.
- Support project management excellence and client retention through financial oversight and mentoring.
- Promote a collaborative, cross-functional work environment that supports employee growth and client satisfaction.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 10 years of industry experience in geotechnical engineering, consulting, or related disciplines.Experience in team leadership, business operations, and client relationship management.
