Hourly Pay Range : $24.86 - $37.29 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights : Position : Mental Health Associate I Location : Chicago, IL Full time, 32 weekly hours Hours : Monday-Friday, 7am-3 : 30pm or 3pm-11 : 30pm Required Travel : none A brief summary : The Mental Health Associate provides patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse and assists in maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu. What you will do : Provides direct, individualized patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Maintains a safe and therapeutic milieu. Enhances own professional growth and development. Reads, discusses and evaluates current research. Demonstrates knowledge of nursing / hospital policies and procedures. Demonstrates cost containment in the position of patient care. Performs other duties as assigned. What you will need : Bachelor of Science in Psychology or a related field. Internship or previous experience in dealing with psychiatric patients. Current CPR certification with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
