OB / GYN Laborist Physician Locums Job in Kentucky On Call Ongoing Beginning ASAP Assignment

Coverage Needed : On Call ongoing ASAP, weekend coverage

Shift Description :

In house call - stays at hospital unit and works a 24-hour shift

Call response time required : 30 minutes

Requirements :

Board Certified or Eligible

Licensed in Kentucky

BLS and PALS certification

Admissions required

Must have clean background

Required Skills : low risk pregnancy, high risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation (NST, CST, FSE), OB ultrasound (performance of, interpretation : Level 1 / screening (viability) and Level 2 / targeted (anatomic , Amniocentesis, Routine delivery (vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for c-section), Complicated delivery (C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBAC s), Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, Surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic diagnostic / minor only- tubal ligation, LOA s, chronal tubation, Operative / major (includes diagnostic)- ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA s)

Practice Setting : Inpatient

2 Providers Requested

Temporary privileges available, full credentialing : 60 days

Hospital Stroke Certified : Yes

Patients per shift : 8

Average number of deliveries per year : 900

Beds in Department : 23

Support staff : 2 RN, 1 MA

PEDs Level : 2

Not required to supervise AP or Resident

Department has 2 OR's for C-sections and emergencies
