Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT (MR) certification and at least 2 years of current MRI experience for a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital MRI department
  • Utilize GE MRI equipment
  • Evening and weekend shifts required
  • Must be available to work call shifts as needed
  • Block scheduling, 10- or 12-hour shifts are not permitted
  • Uses Meditech Expanse EMR, prior experience strongly preferred
  • Required to work two major holidays or their adjacent weekends during the assignment
  • All scheduling requests must be submitted prior to assignment confirmation
  • Holiday coverage for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's is required as specified
  • Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years current MRI technologist experience
  • ARRT (MR) certification required
  • BLS (AHA) certification required
  • Experience with GE equipment required
  • Massachusetts state license required if applicable
  • Must have own vehicle for transportation
  • Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
  • No more than 5 days of requested time off will be considered
