FlexRack is an integrated solar company that offers custom-designed, fixed tilt ground mount and single-axis solar tracking systems in the commercial and utility-scale solar mounting industries. FlexRack also offers full services, including engineering, geotechnical, pullout testing, field, and layout design services to address the actual site conditions of a project site. FlexRack has completed over 3.5 GW of solar racking installations in over 40 U.S. states, 9 Canadian provinces and across the globe.

SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior People & Culture Operations Manager to join our Hanwha Qcells FLEXRACK. A Sr.People and Culture Operations Manager develops and implements strategies and systems to foster a positive, engaging, and values-aligned workplace culture. Key responsibilities include enhancing employee engagement and welfare, supporting recruitment and retention, promoting diversity and inclusion, advising leadership on HR strategies, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. This strategic role requires a strong understanding of organizational development, change management, and communication to align people operations with broader business goals. This position will report to HR Director directly.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Culture Cultivation : Develop programs and initiatives to foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment, promoting company values and employee engagement.
  • Employee Engagement & Welfare : Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, conduct performance reviews, and oversee staff welfare and wellbeing.
  • Talent Management : Support HR Director’s recruitment strategies, talent development programs, and employee retention efforts to build a diverse and empowered workforce.
  • Advisory & Coaching : Provide expert advice, coaching, and guidance to leadership and staff on people and culture-related matters.
  • Compliance : Ensure all people and culture operations comply with labor laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Data & Reporting : Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports on key HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and diversity statistics.
  • HR Operations : Manage various HR functions, including contracts management, compensation and benefits, and HR systems.
  • Cross-Funtional Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, such as finance and operations, to integrate HR initiatives and achieve organizational goals.
  • Other duties as assigned per HR Director’s direction.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in HR management or operations, with a focus on employee engagement and culture.
  • Demonstrable experience planning and implementing EDI (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software and tools.
  • Prefferd / Plus
  • HR Certification (e.g : SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • Proficient in Workday & ADP.
  • Any related certificatation of job duties.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Stationary Position : frequently remains stationary up to 90% of the time and sitting up to 8 hours in a day
  • Move / Traverse : infrequently bend, stand, stoop and / or walk
  • Carry Weight : infrequently carry weight and / or lift objects (light to heavy) weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Hearing and Speech : frequently communicates with the ability to hear and talk on a regular basis with employees, coworkers, and all personnel matters; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • Sight : frequent use of sight to detect images on computer, office documents, and office objects near and far
  • Climb : occasionally ascends / descends on stairway to get to office upper and lower floors
  • Travel : up to 20% as needed
