Safety Plan Coordinator

Position Overview

Cannon is seeking a Safety Plan Coordinator to join our federal projects team on JBLM . This role is responsible for creating, proofing, and finalizing federal safety documentation (e.g., Accident Prevention Plans, Site-Specific Safety Plans , Activity Hazard Analyses, Fall Protection Plans, Lift Plans) in alignment with EM 385-1-1, USACE, NAVFAC, OSHA, and contract-specific safety requirements. The Safety Coordinator will use Cannon's established safety plan templates and work directly with project managers and directors to gather project scope details, then develop polished safety submissions for review. This position is documentation-focused - ensuring that every safety plan is accurate, professional, and complete.

Key Responsibilities

Federal Safety Plan Development & Documentation

• Complete project-specific safety plan s using Cannon's templates (APP, SSSP, AHAs, Fall Protection Plans, Lift Plans, and other required safety documents).
• Research and apply federal safety requirements (EM 385-1-1, NAVFAC, USACE, OSHA) to ensure compliance.
• Incorporate project scope details provided by PMs / Directors, tailoring plans to the unique hazards and requirements of each project.
• Proofread, format, and finalize documents in Microsoft Word to ensure accuracy, consistency, and professional presentation.
• Maintain revision logs, version control, and tracking systems for all safety documents.
