Continuous Improvement Leader - Patient Safety Program - UH Lakewood Medical Center

Join a forward-thinking healthcare organization committed to enhancing patient outcomes and operational excellence. As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you'll lead and mentor cross-functional project teams using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive measurable improvements across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and co-design improvement projects focused on quality, safety, and efficiency in partnership with key stakeholders, including patients.
  • Align project goals with regulatory standards and the organization's Annual Business Plan.
  • Provide training and education on continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities and measure progress toward performance goals.
  • Support a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business management, or equivalent experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification or training (may be completed through TMC Training Commitment Agreement)
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive healthcare experience
  • Strong understanding of integrative and systems thinking
  • Proven project management, analytical, and facilitation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare organization
  • Supervisory experience
  • Project Management or related professional certification
