Position : Travel RN - Behavioral Health

Location : Kansas City, MO

Start Date : October 20, 2025

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Shift : Nights | 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM | 36 hrs / week (3x12)

Assignment Details

  • Floating : Required - cross-leveling used, assigned where the greatest need is
  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 8
  • Charting System : Meditech
  • On-Call : Not required

Requirements

  • Experience : Minimum 1 year in Psychiatric / Behavioral Health nursing
  • Certifications :

    • BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • Active Blue Card CPI (required at submission)
  • Skills :

    • Crisis intervention & de-escalation techniques

  • Psychiatric assessments (mental health, substance use, behavioral disorders)
  • Administration & monitoring of psychotropic medications
  • Care planning & therapeutic communication
