Locums - Emergency Medicine Physician - Corpus Christi, Texas Start Date : October 6, 2025Duration : 1 YearType : Emergency Medicine Coverage (3 Facilities) Position Overview

• Facilities : 3 total (mix of main sites and FSEDs)
• Schedule : o Shifts : 6 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM 6 : 00 PM - 6 : 00 AMo Single physician coverage at each siteo Commitment : Minimum 5-6 shifts per month
• Orientation : o 2-hour onboarding (Meditech local quality measures)o 1 shadow shift at each main siteo 1 shadow shift at an FSED (all function the same)
• Admissions : 10% at FSEDs, 20% at doctors
• Procedures : Intubations, central lines, ultrasound, OB deliveries, dislocation reductions, chest tubes, trauma management, laceration repair
• Support Staff : APP coverage at all sites
• Staffing : 1 EM physician per shift (all sites except one) Requirements
• EM Residency Trained : Required
• Board Certification : ABEM preferred; ABFM or ABIM with ER experience accepted for FSEDs
