As a Business Operations Analyst in our Production organization, you will join the new home for Special Projects in one of Anduril209s largest, fastest-growing organizations.
Production at Anduril is responsible for the end-to-end processes of procuring, manufacturing, and delivering hardware to our customers. The Production BizOps team is dedicated to staffing high-impact projects to help deliver hardware On-time, with Quality, at Cost. You will be embedded in the operations of the business, working across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, and teams outside Production like Finance, Growth, HR, etc., spanning from strategic projects with leadership exposure to scrappy operational improvements in complex Production processes.
Responsibilities
- Own operational projects end-to-end, from Definition, Solution, to Implementation. You will be handed ambiguous, messy problems with little prescription on how to solve them. If this does not excite you, this is not the role for you.
- Work on operational problems at the intersection of hardware and software systems, including inventory management, asset-tracking in the field, and manufacturing systems capturing data on quality issues on the production floor. Anduril is a hardware business, and tracking hardware is messy. We need our systems, tools, and processes to be up to the task.
- Work on strategic problems, providing structure to ambiguity and guiding cross-functional stakeholders toward decisions on strategic issues—combining first principles thinking with rapid, thorough internal and external research to detail implications and tradeoffs while keeping the core question in view.
- Work deeply with data and systems, understanding how ERP, MRP, HRIS, and related systems function, and leverage data to create insights and analytics (using Excel, Palantir Foundry, etc.) to equip teams with tools to measure and improve processes.
- Execute scrappy analyses on short timelines to get quick answers, while also owning scalable solutions for the long term.
- Project manage across many stakeholders, leading meetings and coordinating cross-functional efforts to drive toward solutions.
- Work across functions to learn Anduril's business end-to-end, interacting with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering, HR, Recruiting, Growth, and more. BizOps is a highly cross-functional team at Anduril.
