JOB SUMMARY

This is a full-time on-site role for a News Producer located in Flint, MI. The News Producer will be responsible for the day-to-day production of newscasts, including writing news stories, assigning videos, managing the broadcast rundown, and coordinating with on-air talent. The News Producer will also be responsible for ensuring the content meets journalistic standards and adheres to the station's editorial guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in News Production and Broadcast Television
• Strong News Writing and general Writing skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred
• Familiarity with newsroom software and equipment is a plus
