The Insurance and Securities Agency is seeking a dynamic, experienced leader to step into the role of Director of the Insurance Producer Licensing Division.

Duties and Tasks

As the Division Director, you will :

  • Lead and manage a dedicated team that processes Resident and Non-Resident producer license applications and renewals.
  • Oversee communication with agents, consumers, and companies to ensure clarity, compliance, and professionalism.
  • Review and process Life Settlement Provider and Broker applications and renewals.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by tracking NAIC working groups, model regulations, and attending national conferences.
  • Partner with leadership to manage and develop the division's budget, implement process improvements, and streamline operations.
  • Support strategic initiatives led by the Deputy Commissioner and Commissioner to modernize and enhance licensing procedures.
  • Be able to interpret and apply complex regulations and policies.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree, and at least 5 years of experience managing programs and supervising direct reports.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with producer licensing or insurance industry regulation.

A track record of implementing new systems and driving operational efficiency.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Skilled at building team cohesion, setting expectations, and empowering staff to succeed.
