Diesel Mechanic Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with experience in various heavy equipment and automotive systems as well as a clean driving history. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the optimal performance of our fleet and machinery.

• Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on diesel engines and related systems
• Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty equipment.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs
• Work with schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs
• Skills
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics
• Proficient in diesel engine repair, including air brake systems, transmissions, hydraulics, and suspension components
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and maintenance procedures
• Ability to work with various types of machinery such as tractor-trailers, box trucks, and othe industrial equipment
• Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting issues
• Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs
• Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients
• Clean background and Driving History.
