Description :

Evaluates claimants / clients by administering tests and measurements, such as range of motion, gait, and functional analysis, to determine individual rehabilitation program needs.

Provides or oversees ongoing assessments of claimant's / client's rehabilitation.

Prepares, transmits, and maintains measurement and assessment records.

Reports tests, assessments, and measurements to interdisciplinary teams as requested.

Participates in the writing and presentation of individual claimant / client treatment plans.

Formulates goals and plans appropriate physical therapy treatments.

Plans periodic reassessments of claimant / client progress and revises plans as necessary.

Participates in ongoing continuing education and in-service training.

Involves in research projects and program development.

Trains pre-clinical and clinical physical therapy students, physical therapy assistant students, licensed physical therapy assistants, and therapy aides.
