Salary :

Natural Habitat Adventures (Nat Hab), a nature-focused global adventure travel company, is seeking an experienced and innovative FileMaker Developer to help improve efficiency, automate workflows, and support business operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable FileMaker Pro solutions that enhance guest and business experiences.
  • Build complex scripts, calculations, and workflows to automate processes and improve efficiency.
  • Integrate FileMaker applications with APIs, external databases, and other systems.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and test applications in collaboration with team members.
  • Document code changes to support effective maintenance and knowledge transfer.
  • Participate in code reviews and QA to ensure high-quality, standards-compliant output.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Respond to FileMaker-related support tickets, guiding staff toward self-service when possible, and manage escalations thoughtfully.
  • Maintain version control documentation and ensure compliance with SOX standards.
  • Work with IT and Systems teams to shape system architecture and identify improvement opportunities.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 6 months of FileMaker Pro development experience.
  • Proficient with current FileMaker platform versions.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript preferred.
  • Experience with web integrations (HTML5, JSON, REST APIs, Git) preferred.
  • UI / UX design experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
  • Skilled at balancing competing priorities and deadlines with technical feasibility.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, consistency, and quality assurance.
  • Works independently and collaboratively with integrity, maturity, and enthusiasm.
  • COMPENSATION

    Starting salary range : $70,000 to $90,000 plus annual bonus. Compensation commensurate with experience. (Per Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, employers must include compensation ranges in job postings). This is a full-time, exempt position.

The Louisville, Colorado office near Boulder is surrounded by paved paths and natural trails with panoramic views of the foothills and Rocky Mountains. The office campus features an on-site fitness facility and caf serving daily breakfast and lunch, including a full-service espresso bar with locally roasted coffee.

    LOCATION AND TRAVEL

    For local candidates, this position offers a hybrid work schedule, with at least two in-office days per week.

    Nat Hab is also open to remote work for exceptional candidates residing in one of the following U.S. states : Alaska, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington. Remote employees must work Mountain Time hours and travel to Louisville, Colorado twice per year (approximately two weeks total) for role-related needs.

    This location and travel policy is subject to change at the companys discretion.

    WORKING HOURS

    Our standard company hours are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM MT. On Saturdays, we operate from 8 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM, with coverage provided by select members of our guest-facing teams. Additional hours may be required, as needed, to achieve your goals and support business needs.
